Introduction - What is it like being a Cosplayer?

I've been interested in cosplay for about 4 years, and I've constantly been refining the characters every year. I'm never satisfied with a cosplay - I feel there is always a way to change it, upgrade it, or make it better. The community is a lot of fun and generally supportive, but I often just happen to come across the random components that make up my outfits!
