Introduction - What is it like being a Cosplayer?

Pretty cool! I wish I had more time to be more dedicated and had more money to go to more cons!

What are your next goals?

Cosplay is only a small hobby of mine. I really want to become a digital illustrator / concept artist for games or animations. My primary focus is improving my digital media skills daily! If I get the time, I would love to do more cosplay.

What does Cosplay mean to you?

It's just fun getting to be your favorite character for a day!

Who have been your biggest influences/role models/mentors?

My friend Lari who was my clicker- with out her I would have just been a random girl in dirty clothes. But with her, the fans really seemed to CLICK HAH.

Do you have any advice or suggestions for upcoming Cosplayers?

Cosplay something that feels comfortable to you. Remember, you are going to be photographed, and nothing sucks more than being photographed in something that you're not 100% cozy in. Trust me.

What is the most negative experience you've dealt with while cosplaying, and how did you handle it?

GOING VIRAL SUCKS. So many comments about my weight and apperance. It really set me back mentally, I've been struggling with a brittle bone disease my whole life, and bullying was a none-stop thing in my school days. Now I'm older, and was hoping to have escaped all that!! But then one day, someone on FB messages me saying I'm on the front page of some subreddit, and I made the horrible mistake of reading the comments. Then reading more comments. and more. I tried to bounce back by improving my costume!
