Introduction - What is it like being a Cosplayer?

Well, it's all fun of course. I have been doing this for 9 years and have completed over 50 costumes. I'm just like any other person in their twenties, I go to college, I work and I have a dog..... who likes to eat my cosplays. Some people like sports, some like drinking; I like dressing up and meeting other people who do the same on my weekends.... and also a little bit of drinking

What are your next goals?

I don't like to ruin the surprise!

What does Cosplay mean to you?

It's all about having fun!

Who have been your biggest influences/role models/mentors?

hmmm, I think that everyone in my life constantly not supporting my hobby only drives me further to do it. My mom calls this "weird anime shit" and just doesn't get it, but I love it, and I don't think I'll ever stop unless I stop finding it fun.

Do you have any advice or suggestions for upcoming Cosplayers?

I always tell people to "be who you love" don't let your race, height, weight, eye color, hair color, gender, or sexual orientation stop you from portraying your favorite character. I'm a blonde hair, blue eyed, 5'8" kida from Atlantis the Lost Empire

What is the most negative experience you've dealt with while cosplaying, and how did you handle it?
