Introduction - What is it like being a Cosplayer?

My name's Jade, I usually go with Leadpanda when it's art related. I love crafting props and one of the greatest feelings is when someone recognize the character you're cosplaying and likes it!

What are your next goals?

Crafting with worbla. I'd really like to make my own Monster Hunter armor, since I already have a longsword. And oh my, I'd also really love to cosplay my own created skin for Syndra (http://leadpanda.tumblr.com/image/98308163711)!!

What does Cosplay mean to you?

Cosplay for me is a form of art! Cosplay photography as much as the costumes theirselves.

Who have been your biggest influences/role models/mentors?

Kamui Cosplay, Element Cosplay and LadeeDanger are amazing! I would not be able to have so many cosplay ideas in mind. x_x

Do you have any advice or suggestions for upcoming Cosplayers?

I didn't not built many advices for upcoming cosplayers apart my numerous advices about making props! I have a short tutorial about how I made my scissor blade (http://imgur.com/a/FEJmQ#0).

What is the most negative experience you've dealt with while cosplaying, and how did you handle it?

I did not attempt to many conventions yet. Actually, I just went three times to my local cosplay event, so I do not have much experience. Everything, for the time being, has been positive!
